Exam Success for the Technical Team

Due to the rapid pace of the industry, working in IT can be a relentless re-education process as technology changes and evolves. The Nexus technical team have to ensure they have the skills and qualifications to advise and support our customers. Over the last few months a number of Nexus engineers have achieved exam success to further their own technical qualifications and to help Nexus retain the high standard of expertise that has built the company's reputation.

Congratulations on a superb effort to all of the Nexus technical team in particular:

Alex Simpson

Alex Simpson has qualified as a Microsoft MCSE achieving outstanding results in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 exams.

Dave Carter

Dave Carter, already a triple Microsoft MCSE, has now passed his third Microsoft Exchange 2007 exam giving him the MCITP Enterprise Messaging Administrator certification. Dave is now one of only 1727 people worldwide who hold this certification! Dave's next target is to become one of the first people to pass MCITP: 2008 Server Administrators.

Mike Williams

Mike has focused on passing a number of Nortel exams, helping Nexus to achieve the significant SMB Unified Communications accreditation from Nortel. His achievements include certification in the following:

• Nortel Certified Support Specialist - Nortel Software Communication System 500
• Nortel Certified Support Specialist - Ethernet Switching Configuration & Management
• Nortel Certified Design Specialist - Nortel Ethernet Switching Solutions

Ross Parkman

Well done to Ross who has also completed and passed the Nortel Ethernet Switching Solutions and Nortel Ethernet Switching Configuration & Management certifications, further expanding on his existing network systems knowledge.

Paul Dowsing

Congratulations to Paul for passing his Nortel Software Communication System 500 exam and for becoming a Nortel Certified Support Specialist. Paul is now looking forward to putting his Unified Communications skills to good use.

Graham Gray

Senior Systems Engineer Graham Gray has work extremely hard this year to qualify for a VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and is also VMware Capacity Planning approved. This is a great personal achievement and it ensures that Nexus are well-positioned to offer the highest levels of expertise when deploying and supporting our customer's virtualisation projects.

Nick Bateman

Well done to Nick Bateman who has also qualified as a VMware Certified Professional. This personal certification perfectly complements Nick's existing accreditations and technical experience. Nick has said that he is really looking forward to implementing his skills with such a great technology.
