Website Design Team Members Awarded RPS Distinction

The Nexus Open Software website design and development team has enjoyed rapid growth and well deserved success over the last 12 months. High profile contracts have been awarded to Nexus to develop industry leading websites for clients of all sizes and provide a wide range of related services including corporate branding, graphic design, copy-writing, photography and search engine optimisation (SEO).

Nexus is therefore delighted to announce that three of the website development team members have been awarded the Licentiateship (LRPS) distinction by the Royal Photographic Society (RPS)

On April 2nd 2008 the RPS Distinctions Panel met to review images submitted by photographers from all over the world, including successful portfolio submissions from the Nexus team members. The distinctions are a great acknowledgement of the hard work that the guys have put in over the last few years building a panel of images that represented their abilities and personal styles.

The LRPS distinction is awarded to photographers by the Royal Photographic Society if their panel of portfolio images demonstrate a sound technical skill and ability to compose and control an image as a means of communication. The images also need to show evidence of a personal style and meet the following key criteria:

• Presentation
• Technique - Camera Work
• Technical Quality
• Seeing - Visual Awareness
• Thinking - Communication
